Bugs is an online streaming platform use throughout South Korea. The app is geolocked and is not able to be downloaded into phones outside of South Korea. However, there are ways to still get the app on your phone. Before starting this process there are things to keep in mind.

  1. Because the app is not from Play Store or App Store this basically means you are installing a foreign app and any risks that come with it will not be to blame on official providers.
  2. Bugs is the most accessibly streaming site. Using the Play Store option you are able to buy your own streaming passes easily.

How to Download (Android)

BUGS APK

In order to download Bugs on your phone, you must do so manually using an APK.

On Google or your web browser search up “bugs apk”

Click on the first link named: 벅스 for Android – APK Download – APKPure.com

Click on the Download APK button right underneath

You will be prompted by your phone to download file. Remember that because the app is not being downloaded through the Play Store it is technically a risk.

Open downloaded file

Press INSTALL to add app to your phone

How to Download (IOS)

Bugs is only available in the Korean Apple App store. In order to be able to download the app you will need to change your Apple ID ‘s region.

  1. Go to Settings and click on Itunes & App Store.
  2. Click on your Apple ID
  3. Click on Country Region
  4. Click on Change Country or Region
  5. Change to Korea, Republic Of
  6. Agree on Terms and Conditions
  7. Put None for Payment Method
  8. City and County: SEOUL
  9. Postal code: 120 000
  10. Go into App Store, search for Bugs and download.

Creating a Bugs Account

Click on 내 음악 at the bottom of the homepage

Click on 로그인

Click on 벅스 호원가입

Click on 이메일로 벅스 호원가입

Fill in registration form as shown

In put code sent to your phone number, make sure you check all the boxes, confirm code and press orange button to finish registration.

How to Buy a Streaming Pass

Go to the home page and click on the cog icon to get to the menu

Click on 이용권 구매

Click on 일반

Scroll all the way to the bottom to get to the Google Play option. Make sure you have a form of payment connected to your Google Pay account. You can buy a streaming pass for 30 days

How to Stream on Bugs

Go to the homepage and click on 탐색

Search for 원위

Click on 앨범. Then click on the menu icon next to the album/song

Click on 재생목록에 추가

Click on the play button now at the button of the screen

Make sure to heart ONEWE and their music!

It is important that you clear your playlist every hour:

  1. Click on the icon with the three lines, little play button and number
  2. Select all the songs and then click on the little trashcan to clear playlist
